The remarkable beauty of Ruaha is not only in the landscape and its diversity of flora and fauna, or the impressive big game, but in the feeling of having the wilderness all to yourself. With only a handful of visitors at any one time in an area the size of New Jersey, this is an exceptional safari experience.

Detta program är en inspirationskälla – varje resa är unik och skräddarsys för dig.
Day 1. : Skyline of Dar Es Salaam with ocean and sailing boat

Fly into Dar Es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania where you will be picked up and taken to your overnight at Southern Sun Dar including breakfast.

Day 2. : Jabali-Ridge-Leopard

Wake up early in order to catch your morning flight out to Ruaha. You will be picked up at the hotel and taken to the airport to board your flight to Ruaha. On arrival at Msembe Airstrip you will be met by a guide from Jabari Ridge. A welcome table will be set up for you with a brief introduction into the surrounding area before heading on a game drive en-route to one of Asilia’s newest properties, Jabali Ridge. Once at camp you will have the opportunity to relax and acclimatise after the flight. In the afternoon, you have the option of either relaxing in camp and soaking up your immediate surroundings, or heading out on an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. As evening approaches, it’s time to prepare for drinks and dinner or, if pre- booked, the opportunity to search for the nocturnal residents on a night game drive.

Day 3-5. : Jabali-Ellies-3

Depending on your preference, there are a couple of options with regards to how your day is structured. Walking safaris are a great way to start the day, getting out early and exploring the environment on equal footing as the wildlife. There are morning game drives with picnic breakfasts, or delicious breakfasts to be enjoyed in camp. Full day game drives with picnic lunches, or a relaxed lunch in camp with an afternoon game drive. Or spend the day in camp, enjoying the pleasures of the spa and unwinding in swimming pool before venturing out on a night game drive. Despite sharing vehicles on a Game Package basis, the camp will do everything it can to ensure that your ideal structure is met. For increased flexibility, book a private vehicle and structure your days exactly how you wish.

Day 6. : Dusk-at-Jabali-Infinity-Pool

After breakfast, pack your bags and say your farewells as you depart for Msembe Airstrip for your Coastal Aviation flight to Dar Es Salaam Airport. Jabali Ridge: These camps and lodges are run by an organization that is one of the pioneers in the industry. Here we are lucky enough to welcome guests to some of the most special places on earth. Places of stunning nature abounding wildlife and full of cultural significance. These areas are of exceptional value for all of us living on this planet, now and in the future. With our presence and through your visit you can make a lasting positive impact on nature and local businesses alike. By generating revenue, we increase opportunities for people to prosper and support efforts that preserve and ultimately expand untouched habitats. Our goal is to make a real difference with everything we work with.

We are proud to take a groundbreaking approach: setting up camps and lodges in areas where tourism has a small footprint and making long-term commitments for these sites to flourish. In the end, sustainable tourism can be transformed into new areas, transforming them into viable and lasting conservation-based economies, with everlasting revenues for both its people and wildlife protection.

Whether we already have a presence or explore opportunities to enter new countries, the key to making an impact is to know where the biggest challenges lie. It starts by judging the control and management set-up, identifying cavities, and establishing what the best approach is to address the problems encountered.

We take a common strategy, working with local communities, government agencies, NGOs and other companies to achieve the best possible long-term results for the areas we committed ourselves to. These partnerships allow us to identify where we can make the biggest contribution and impact.
