Soneva Jani is the most exclusive resort in the Maldives, with 24 water villas on the uninhabited island of Medhufaru, which sits within a large, private lagoon in the Noonu Atoll. This is if you ask us, one of the best eco luxurious experience there is. Although, Soneva Jani is not for everyone. This is a place where you will be treated like a guest rather than a tourist.
People who come here are well traveled but concerned about the footprint they are leaving and who loves the concept of “no news no shoes motto”. The experiences here will never be forgotten.

Sample Itinerary
There is nothing modest about Soneva Jani. The villas, ranging from one to four bedrooms, each has a large private swimming pool, outdoor bathrooms with a tub, rooftop terrace where you can retract the roof so you can watch the stars from your bed.
Some villas even have private waterslides into the lagoon – a heaven for children.
The view from your bedroom does not make you tired. The soothing sound from the waves will put you to sleep.
There is no limit to the options available when it comes to gourmet dining at Soneva Jani – A candlelit dinner under the stars. A private picnic with your loved ones. Curate your own menu with our experienced chefs for the perfect meal. The wine cellar at Soneva Jani is housed in a six-metre-high glass tower. Private wine tastings and dinners can be arranged.
Cinema Paradiso is the first overwater silent cinema in the Maldives. Guests are curled up amongst pillows and blankets all wearing Bluetooth headphones, leaving the surrounding wildlife at peace.
How about a resort tour in a golf buggy, a private sunset boat tour in search of dolphins or snorkeling and dinner at your own private sandbank?
There is a water sports center offering complimentary kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, windsurfing, kite-surfing and catamarans. Needless to say the snorkeling and diving here is divine too.
Visit the first overwater Observatory in the Maldives, where you can see constellations in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Let your resident Astronomers guide you through the magic of space and share their knowledge of how ancient cultures used the night sky to navigate, harvest, hunt and teach.
Of course there is a spa, complimentary ice cream, bikes to ride, forests waiting to be discover and so much more that you could spend months here without getting bored.
